Flight Clerk Administrator – Sydney Airport

The Role

We’re looking for a reliable and organised Freight Services Administrator to help support the smooth movement of import and export cargo at Sydney International Freight Terminal. You’ll play an important role in documentation, communication, and daily coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the efficient flow of cargo by coordinating with customers, operations teams, and airline partners.
  • Handle customer service tasks such as bookings, quotes, track-and-trace, and responding to enquiries.
  • Prepare and process airway bills, manifests, and flight documentation, ensuring all data is accurate.
  • Assist with special-handling cargo (dangerous goods, animals, perishables, human remains).
  • Work with stakeholders to help resolve lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.
  • Ensure cargo documentation is collected from aircraft and all regulatory clearances are completed.
  • Maintain ULD records and send required messages/telex updates for inbound and outbound cargo and mail.

What we require from you!

  • Must be able to work on a 7-day rotating roster (AM/PM & weekends)
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking abilities
  • A proactive, positive, and detail-oriented mindset
  • Previous Workers’ Compensation administration experience (advantageous)
  • A flexible approach to thrive in a fast-paced airport environment
